GDYT (Grow Detroit’s Young Talent) students participating in our Summer of Success program will be taking several field trips this summer for enrichment opportunities both social and academic. On Monday, July 23, students took a day trip to the University of Toledo to tour the campus, enjoy lunch in a cafeteria, and sat in on a presentation from admissions counselor Chris Scott, who shared his “Seven Secrets for College Success.”
Last week, students toured Grand Valley State University in Allendale, MI and future trips will be to Central Michigan University, and Oakland University,
