Malcolm McCants

Malcolm was promoted to the role of Director of Education for the SAY Detroit Play Center in May of 2021 after working as a Program Assistant for 2 years with the organization. Malcolm has over 5 years of experience working in the non-profit sector, with 3 years in non-profit leadership, developing and enhancing academic programs while also managing donor and partner relationships. Malcolm also oversees special projects relating to student and community engagement, including the Community Giving Project 2021, Detroit Pistons & SAY Detroit T-Shirt Marketing 2022, and the SAY Media Center 2023. Malcolm also serves on multiple boards and committees at SAY Detroit, including the Community Advisory Board, the Culture & Climate Team, and the Attendance Committee.

Malcolm earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Relations from Western Michigan University in 2017. He is also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated.
